On August 29 at 5:56am the Red Cross was notified that evacuation levels south of Prairie City, OR, were raised to Level 3 (Go). Due to the increased evacuation levels, the Mt. Vernon Grange Hall has been opened as an evacuation shelter for residents in need of assistance
