PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE RESPONDS TO A HOUSE FIRE IN NORTH PORTLAND

This morning at 5:07 AM Portland Fire crews were called to 2271 N Menzies Dr. When firefighters arrived, they found fire in the attic of a small house. The home was searched and the occupant was found safe outside. The fire was extinguished and crews searched for any hidden hot spots.
The cause of this fire is under investigation and damage estimates aren't yet available. This release will be updated with pictures if they become available.
