On May 27, 2015, at about 7:55AM, OSP Troopers responded to the report of a two vehicle crash on HWY 34 near Tangent in Linn County.

According to Senior Trooper Casey Hunter, a 1998 Chevy Prius, operated by Kimberly BLOCKER, age 38, of Albany, was attempting to make a left hand turn from Columbus Street onto HWY 34 when it struck the right passenger side wheel well of a 2001 Ford Ranger which was traveling westbound on HWY 34.

The Ford Ranger, operated by Alex EFIMOFF, age 28, of Woodburn, lost control and rolled onto it's top coming to rest on the highway. EFIMOFF was transported to Albany General Hospital for minor injuries.

At the completion of the investigation, BLOCKER was cited for Careless Driving . Westbound lanes were blocked for at least an hour while crews worked to remove the vehicles.

OSP was assisted by ODOT, The Albany Fire Department and the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
