Disaster responders from the American Red Cross Cascades Region are providing immediate emergency assistance after two April 11 fires.
One adult and a pet dog were displaced by a single-family fire in the 100 block of Upper Naselle Road in Naselle, Wash. The Red Cross provided food, lodging, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services
Two adults and one child were displaced by a single-family fire in the 700 block of NW Forest Lane in Cascade Locks, Ore. The Red Cross provided food, clothing, seasonal garments, shoes, lodging, comfort kits, and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services.
The Red Cross advocates emergency preparedness and suggests taking a few moments to review your family's exit plan should there be a fire in your home.
