The American Red Cross Cascades Region is assisting two families affected by residential fires in Multnomah and Douglas County April 5.

Six adults were affected by a single-family fire in the 6900 block of SE Tenino Street in Portland. The Red Cross provided comfort kits and information about Disaster Health and Mental Health services.

One adult and two cats were displaced after a mobile home fire in the first block of Manor Loop in Roseburg. The Red Cross provided food, clothing, lodging, and information about disaster recovery and disaster mental health services.
