BEAVERTON, Ore. - The City of Beaverton welcomes community members to celebrate Irish culture at the St. Patrick's Day celebration. Hosted by the Beaverton Farmers Market winter market on Saturday, March 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the celebration features music and dance performances from the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Pipe s and Drums Band, the New Shilling, and the Molly Mallone Irish Dancers.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter into the coloring contest for a chance to win prizes from New Seasons Market, the Beaverton Historical Society and the Beaverton Farmers Market. The contest is open to all ages.
"Thanks to our partnership with the Beaverton Farmers Market, we're able to hold great community events like this," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "Everyone is invited to come out to celebrate and enjoy the winter market."

11:30 a.m. - Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Pipes and Drums Band
11:45 a.m. - The New Shilling live music performance
12:45 p.m. - Molly Malone Irish Dancers of Yeates Academy of Irish Dance
