Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into a two vehicle crash that occurred Saturday morning resulting in the death of three occupants from one of the involved vehicles. The victim's names and other information are provided in this release.
On October 18, 2014 at approximately 9:57 a.m., a 2010 Dodge Caliber was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 78 when it lost control on the wet roadway, crossed into the westbound lane, and collided with a westbound 2001 Chevrolet Suburban towing a 32 foot travel trailer.
The operator of the Dodge Caliber, TIFFANY FEFELOV, age 27, her husband FRED FEFELOV, age 34, and their daughter MILA FEFELOV, age 7 months, from Sherwood, all suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
The operator of the Suburban, FRANCIS HART, age 78, and his wife, SALLY HART, age 77, were uninjured in the crash.
Seatbelt usage by all occupants from both vehicles is still being determined by investigators.
OSP troopers from Albany Area Command are leading the investigation and were assisted by OSP troopers from Bend Area Command. OSP was assisted at the scene by the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, Black Butte Police Department, Black Butte Fire Department and ODOT.
