August 8, 2014--We are releasing surveillance photos from the US Bank robbery yesterday. If anyone can help identify the suspect, please call the Sheriff's Office.

Detectives Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

August 7, 2014--Washington County Sheriff's Detectives are searching for a man after he robbed a bank.

On August 7, 2014 at about 12:43 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies were called to the US Bank located at 18485 SW Farmington Road in the community of Aloha, concerning a robbery. Multiple Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area to search for the suspect.

Upon arrival, deputies learned a man went to a teller window and said he had an explosive device. After he demanded cash, he ran southbound from the bank. The teller was not injured and no explosive device was located.

Sheriff's Deputies disseminated the robber's description to all law enforcement in the area and searched with a K9 and handler with no success.

Washington County Property Crimes Detectives were contacted and are continuing the investigation. Washington County Forensic Science Unit assisted with crime scene processing.

The man was described as a white male, about 30 years old, 5'6" tall with a medium build. He had brown hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a blue shirt, black pants and a black hat.

Surveillance photos will likely be available tomorrow.
