ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: DELAYS ON U.S. 26 WESTBOUND Traffic westbound on U.S. 26 is very heavy from around milepost 16 to milepost 28. At milepost 16, a contractor working for ODOT is rebuilding the bridge deck over West Humbug Creek and two-way traffic is being flagged through. Motorists heading to the coast should consider an alternative route such as OR 6 or U.S. 30 depending on their final destination. Motorists should expect longer than expected delays on U.S. 26 this afternoon.
