MAN REPORTED MISSING IN APRIL FOUND SAFE IN PORTLAND AREA

A 51-year old man reported missing April 21, 2014, to Oregon State Police (OSP) detectives was found Thursday with the help of Portland Police Bureau at a homeless shelter in Portland. The man was in good health and his family is aware of his whereabouts.
RANDEL JON BROWN, age 51, was reported missing by his mother to OSP Klamath Falls detectives. He was reportedly missing since early March and was last seen at the Gateway Transit Center in Portland. OSP issued news releases in an attempt to help develop tips to find him.
Detectives from OSP and Portland Police Bureau (PPB) developed information that BROWN was recently spotted in the Portland area. On August 21, 2014, a PPB officer found him at a Portland-area homeless shelter.
