DETECTIVES SEARCH FOR BANK ROBBER (PHOTO)

May 10, 2014--Washington County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3435 SW 182nd Avenue in the community of Aloha. Deputies are still searching for the thief.
On May 10, 2014, at about 11:37 a.m., Sheriff's Deputies responded to a hold-up alarm at the Wells Fargo Bank. Deputies were told that a man entered the bank and demanded money. The man received a small amount of cash and fled on foot westbound on SW Alexander Street. No weapon was seen and no one was injured during the robbery.
Multiple deputies, including a K9, converged and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Witnesses reported the suspect was a black male, about 30 years old, six feet tall, wearing dark clothing and a camouflage hat (photo attached). Deputies investigating the robbery are searching through evidence, photographs and witness statements to gain additional information concerning this robbery.
The Washington County Violent Crimes Unit Detectives continue to investigate this case. The Washington County Forensic Science Unit responded to search for evidence and process the scene.
