Posted on FlashAlert: May 10th, 2014 11:09 PM
On 5-10-14 at about 9:20 pm a 10 year old girl was pushing her bike home from a friend's house toward her own home. She observed a male hiding in the bushes apparently touching himself. The man began chasing her and lunged at her. The girl rode away on her bike toward her house. The suspect grabbed the girl's foot, but she was able to get away. She rode straight to her home and immediately reported what had occurred.
This incident occurred in a rural area near Molalla at Acer Lane and Rosewood Way.
The girl described to the man to the police as a Hispanic male 40-50 years old with a big moustache. He was last seen wearing jeans, boots, and a dark baseball cap. The suspect is possibly associated with an older red van that has been seen in the area recently.
Deputies are following up on leads in this case. Our case number is 14-12684.
