WAYWARD SON RETURNED HOME SAFELY

Gresham, Ore. - Hector Argueta, 9, returned home safely at 6:45 a.m. after an unidentified "person" found him wandering around Davis Park, 400 block of NE 194th Ave., Gresham.
Hector refused to verify where he had spent the night but was unharmed and appeared to have slept in a warm, dry place. According to his parents, an unidentified citizen had seen news reports about the missing boy and recognized him when walking through the park this morning. After contacting Hector, he agreed to walk to his home with them and was reunited with his parents.
Hector had left home from the 200 block of NE 188th Ave. at about 8 p.m. yesterday and police officers searched for him throughout the night.
