Red Cross volunteers responded to a disaster on the 4700 block of Satter Drive in Salem, Ore. The multi-family apartment fire affected two families, with four adults and four children in total. The Red Cross provided food, clothing and lodging to one family, and has plans to meet with the second family to provide assistance if needed.
