BEAVERTON ARTS COMMISSION HOSTS SCULPTURE DEDICATION AT PROGRESS LAKE

The Beaverton Arts Commission (BAC) invites the public to enjoy an evening of food and art during Bruce West's "Stacked Cubes" sculpture dedication at Progress Lake on Thursday, June 6 at 6 p.m. as a part of New Seasons' First Thursday series.

The sculpture is part of the BAC's Temporary Sculpture Program and will be on display until fall 2014.

"Bruce West's sculpture adds to the beauty of the Progress Ridge area," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "The Temporary Sculpture Program is a win for both artists and residents. Please come by and view the new artwork in your neighborhood."

During the dedication, residents can visit with Bruce West, Mayor Doyle and the BAC Board Board. New Seasons will provide refreshments. Residents are also invited to attend News Seasons' "Dads and Grads" First Thursday Celebration after the dedication.
