As we are in the midst of the holiday season and a nationwide effort to curb impaired driving, Oregon State Police Trooper Justin Oxenrider and Trooper Billy Bush from the St. Helens worksite produced a short video (01:27 seconds) emphasizing the nationwide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" crackdown that started December 12, 2012 and runs through January 1, 2013.

Oregon State Police (OSP), Oregon State Sheriffs' Association (OSSA), and Oregon Association Chiefs of Police (OACP) urge everyone to support efforts to apprehend drunk and drugged drivers during the holidays and every day. Previously released holiday enforcement information and safety tips are available on our website at http://www.oregon.gov/osp/NEWSRL/Pages/news/12_18_2012_pre_christmas_tips.aspx.

Please drive safe, sober, and ensure everyone in your vehicle is safely buckled up.
