EARLY MORNING CRASH CLOSES HWY 99W

At 645am this morning a passenger vehicle driving northbound on Hwy 99W at Garland Road south of Sherwood crashed into the rear of a utility trailer being pulled by a dump truch. The car was impailed onto the trailer and was dragged for a short distance. The driver and only occupant of the car was lifeflighted to OHSU with life threatening injuries. The northbound lanes of Hwy 99W have been closed but are expected to reopen within 30 minutes. OSP is taking over as primary on the crash.
