CCSO: WILSONVILLE DENNY'S ROBBED AT KNIFEPOINT, SUSPECT FLEES ON FOOT

On December 19, 2012, at about 5:29 a.m., Wilsonville Police responded to the Denny's restaurant, located at 30175 SW Parkway Avenue, Wilsonville, after an armed robbery was reported to Clackamas 911.
Wilsonville Police were told by the restaurant employee that the suspect came to the register and asked for change for a dollar. When the employee opened the till, the suspect pulled out a large folding knife, opened it, and demanded the money in the till. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money in an unknown direction.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspect was described as a white male adult, in his early thirties, 5'10'' tall, and a thin build. He had brown hair, and a scruffy full beard. He was wearing a medium blue hoody sweatshirt with the letters "NAU" on the front. He was wearing brown baggy style pants with either patches or a lighter discoloration on the back of the legs.
The suspect was carrying a blue medium sized nylon bag, with black nylon handles.
Investigators are planning on processing the available surveillance video for images of the suspect to share with the public.
