Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish & Wildlife troopers from the Albany Area Command office are asking for the public's help to solve a theft of a deer case in the Berlin Rd. / Upper Berlin Dr. area on Frank Timber property last week. A reward is offered by the Oregon Hunter's Association (OHA) for information that leads to an arrest in this case.

On November 2, 2012 a legally harvested fork antler buck deer with a validated deer tag attached was taken by an unknown subject or subjects before the hunter could remove the deer from the field. The hunter had tagged the deer and hidden it under a tree on Frank Timber property, near where he had harvested the buck. When the hunter returned, the deer was gone. (A photograph related to this case is provided with this release)

A reward of up to $250 in this deer case is offered through the Turn-In-Poachers (TIP) program for information related to this investigation.
Anyone with information regarding these cases is asked to call the TIP line at 1-800-452-7888 or contact Trooper Kirk Burkholder at (541) 974-7114.
