Traffic Homicide Investigators have identified the driver of the vehicle as Annastasia Morrison DOB 12/03/1991 of Vancouver Washington. Morrison was the sole occupant and operator of the 2006 Mazda Sedan that was driven recklessly at a high rate of speed south on Hwy 99 when it lost control and crashed on the east side of Hwy 99 at the intersection of NE 72nd Street. Morrison was killed on impact.

Pedestrian Joseph Reilly DOB 04/07/1991 was walking or standing on the north side of NE 72nd Street at Hwy 99 and was struck by the car operated by Morrison. The impact caused Reilly to be tossed across NE 72nd Street and land in the parking lot on the south side of NE 72nd Street. About 3PM today Clark County patrol deputies responded to a single car collision at the intersection of Hwy 99 and 72nd Street. An adult female was deceased on the scene and a male adult was severely injured. As neither subject was still in the vehicle when deputies arrived, it's unclear, at this point, if either the man or woman was operating the car or if either were possibly a pedestrian impacted by the crash. The male subject was transported to SWWMC via ambulance. He was critically injured.

Initial investigation shows that the vehicle, a Mazda sedan was travelling south bound on Hwy 99 at a high rate of speed when it crossed the N/B travel lanes, drove into the parking lot of a Muffler repair business and struck a steel beam pillar in the parking lot. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the collision.

The roadway on Hwy 99 is temporarily shut down for the investigation. No further details will be released at this time.
