A woman in a motorized wheelchair received minor injury Thursday morning when her wheelchair was sideswiped by a teenage driver along a dirt road in La Pine.
According to Senior Trooper Toni Raugust, on October 18, 2012 at approximately 7:30 a.m., ANGELA COBLE, age 43, from La Pine, was on her motorized wheelchair westbound along the side of Primrose Lane at Pinetree Lane when a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by JOSH GACKE, age 17, from La Pine, sideswiped the wheelchair's left side and the woman's arm and shoulder.
COBLE was not knocked off her wheelchair. She was taken by La Pine Fire medics to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend for an examination of a minor injury.
GACKE was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
