STABBING ON TRIMET BUS IN OREGON CITY
Posted: October 3rd, 2012 12:29 AM

On October 2, 2012 around 2250 hours a TriMet bus driver was attacked and stabbed by a passenger as the driver drove the bus on the 33 route on Molalla Ave near Clairmont Way in Oregon City.

The bus driver was attacked and stabbed by a male passenger. Three male passengers who were also riding the bus came to the aid of the bus driver, tackling and detain the suspect until police arrived. While the three passengers were detaining the suspect two of them also received stab wounds and one received a bite wound. When OCPD officers arrived the suspect was taken into custody.

All three stabbing victims were conscious and breathing as they were being transported to Portland area hospitals for treatment.

The investigation is still active and I don't anticipate have any additional information until another Flash News release around 9am when suspect's ID should be available.
