VPD HOMICIDE SUSPECT ARRESTED

On June 27, 2011 Deneace McSpadden, 57 years old, was found deceased at her home located at 1006 SE Morgan Rd., Vancouver, Washington. The manner of death for Deneace McSpadden was homicide caused by blunt head trauma. The investigation identified Mitchell O'Brien as the suspect and an arrest warrant for Murder in the First Degree was issued. On September 25, 2012 the Vancouver Police Department arrested Mitchell O'Brien, 33 years old, for the murder of Deneace McSpadden. O'Brien made his first court appearance today in Clark County. No further information is available at this time.
