Wasco County District Attorney Eric Nisley released a finding today outlining the facts and circumstances surrounding the fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on September 18, 2012 in The Dalles, Oregon. Nisley concluded that the shooting was justified under Oregon law and the forensic evidence and testimony of eyewitnesses supported the conclusion that The Dalles City Police Department officers involved were acting in self defense.
