DETECTIVES SEARCH FOR MORE SEX ABUSE VICTIMS

On July 27, 2012 Washington County Sheriff's Detectives responded to a residence concerning a possible sex abuse. This is in Bethany, an area serviced by the Enhanced Sheriff's Patrol District (ESPD).
After an extensive investigation and evidence processing, Sheriff's Detectives arrested 44-year-old Stephen Webb from Bethany. He was lodged in the Washington County Jail and Charged with 10 sex crimes against a minor child. He was originally held on $750,000 bail.
As Sheriff's Detectives continued the investigation, they uncovered additional evidence that Stephen Webb committed more sex crimes. On September 17, 2012 Stephen Webb was charged with 30 additional sex crimes against a minor child. He continues to be held in the Washington County Jail with a total bail of $2,250,000.
Stephen Webb worked for "Gear up Sports" in Beaverton which would have provided the opportunity for him to work closely with children. This is a business that provides sports gear to youth.
The Sheriff's Office is concerned there may be more victims that have been abused by Stephen Webb.
