VEHICLE VS. BICYCLIST ACCIDENT DUE TO SUN GLARE

On 8/29/12 at 6:34pm 23 year old Alyson Chilson was driving her vehicle West on 45th Street. As she began her turn South into the Pacific Point Apartment complex 58 year old John Chaffers was on his bicycle passing the entrance to the complex.
Chilson could not see Chaffers traveling in front of the entrance to the apartment complex due to the glare of the sun in her eyes. Chilson hit Chaffers on his bike. Chaffers suffered a laceration to his head and minor cuts and scrapes. Chaffers was wearing a helmet. Chaffers refused medical attention.
