SECOND SINGLE VEHICLE FATALITY IN CLARK COUNTY

On August 15th at about 5:30 pm Clark County deputies along with members of Vancouver Fire and Rescue responded to a single vehicle accident in the 8600 block of NE 76th st. When units arrived they found a single SUV had been traveling east bound on NE 76th st. when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The single occupant was killed on impact. The cause of the collision is not known at this time.
The incident is being investigated by The Clark County Sheriff's Office Traffic Team.
The identity of the driver is being withheld until family can be notified.
This is the second fatality crash in Clark County today. The two are not related.
