MILWAUKIE POLICE ARREST YOUTH SPORTS COACH FOR SEX ABUSE OF TEEN PLAYER

Milwaukie Police Arrest Youth Sports Coach for Sex Abuse of Teen Player
On 08-22-12 Milwaukie Police Detectives arrested 47-year-old Garry Allen Clausen (DOB 04-04-65) on 8 counts of Sex Abuse II. Detectives began a criminal investigation in April of 2012 after receiving information Clausen had inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old female.
Garry Allen Clausen has served in several positions as sports coach for Little League and other youth sports teams. He was a past president of the Mt. Hood Little League, and is known to have coached youth baseball, softball, basketball and football. He previously coached Milwaukie youth football and basketball.
Based on information gained during the investigation, detectives are concerned there are additional victims of abuse. The investigation is continuing. Detectives served search warrants at Clausen's home and vehicle today at 5902 SE Foster Road in Portland.
Clausen is being held at the Clackamas County Jail on $150,000 bail.
