DEPUTIES SEARCH FOR BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT

On July 10, 2012, at 5:56pm, Washington County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a robbery at
the US Bank located at 19091 SW Tualatin Valley Highway. The bank is in Aloha, an area of the
Enhanced Sheriff's Patrol District (ESPD). It was reported that a person entered the bank and
gave a teller a note demanding money. There was a firearm mentioned in the note. The teller
complied with the demand and the suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured in the incident.
Sheriff's Deputies surrounded the area and searched with Sheriff's K9 "Hudson" and handler.
The robbery suspect was not located after an extensive search. Deputies did arrest a wanted
fugitive on an outstanding warrant unrelated to the robbery.
The bank robber was described as a white adult with a thin build, 5'4" tall, wearing baggy blue
jeans and gray sweatshirt. It was not clear if it was a male or female. The most unusual
identifying feature was a "Panda face hat." The hat was described as white with black Panda
ears and black circles around the eyes.
The FBI was contacted and will be assisting with the investigation.
