Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers, with the assistance of the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office, are continuing the investigation into Tuesday night's serious injury single vehicle traffic crash on Highway 213 north of Molalla. The crash injured two brothers and alcohol, speed, and lack of safety restraint use are possible contributing factors.

According to Trooper Cameron Bailey, on June 5, 2012 at approximately 8:31 p.m. a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria four-door driven by RONALD ANTHONY DRENNAN, age 66, from Mulino, was southbound on Highway 213 near milepost 10. The driver lost control and traveled off the highway where the car rolled several times.

Passenger ROGER PAUL DRENNAN, age 59, from northeast Portland, was ejected from the car and seriously injured. He was transported by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center where he is in critical condition.

RONALD DRENNAN was not injured and received non-life threatening injuries. He was transported by ground ambulance to Oregon Health & Sciences University.

Both individuals were not using safety restraints.

OSP troopers from the Portland Area Command office are continuing the investigation.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Molalla Police Department, Molalla Fire Department, and ODOT assisted at the scene. The highway was closed about six hours at the scene during the investigation.
