RED CROSS RESPONDS TO THREE FIRES JUNE 9

American Red Cross disaster teams responded to three fires in Klamath Falls and the Portland metro area today.

The first call of the day brought a Southern Oregon Chapter disaster action team to the 2200 Block of White Avenue in Klamath Falls, Klamath County, where they provided immediate emergency assistance for two adults. The team provided hygiene kits, emergency food and clothing, and emergency lodging at a local motel.

A second call came in to the Oregon Trail Chapter, which responded to the 300 Block of Baseline Street in Cornellis, Washington County. The team assisted three people who are displaced by the fire with emergency lodging for three nights at a local motel along with emergency food and clothing.

The third call of the day brought the Oregon Trail Chapter team to the 1600 block of Knarr Court in Troutdale, Multnomah County. The team provided emergency food, infant formula and emergency lodging for the displaced family of six adults and three small children.
