RED CROSS ASSISTS AT FIRE IN GRANTS PASS

Disaster responders from the Southern Oregon chapter are assisting one adult displaced by a residential fire in the 200 block of NE 9th Street in Grants Pass, Josephine County.
The team provided immediate emergency assistance including hygiene kits and funds for food and a bus ticket to the client's parents out of state.
This is the sixth residential fire at which Oregon Region responders have assisted in the past two days. Calls in the Portland metro area, Lincoln City, Springfield, Klamath Falls and Grants Pass have involved disaster action teams from the Oregon Trail, Oregon Pacific, Willamette and Southern Oregon Chapters.
