SERIOUS INJURY TRAFFIC CRASH - NORTH BANK ROAD NEAR OTIS (PHOTO)

Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Monday night's single vehicle rollover crash that seriously injured an Otis-area man along North Bank Road near Otis. The investigation indicates alcohol is a possible contributing factor.
According to Trooper Brian Tucker, on May 28, 2012 at approximately 9:00 p.m. a 1999 Subaru Legacy station wagon driven by JEREMY J. ALLEN, age 35, from Otis, was westbound on North Bank Road near milepost 2 when it lost control negotiating a left curve. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, rolling at least once before coming to rest against a tree on the north side of North Bank Road.
ALLEN was initially transported by PACWEST Ambulance to North Lincoln Samaritan Hospital in Lincoln City with serious injuries. He was later transferred by air ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland for continued treatment. He was using safety restraints.
OSP Newport Area Command office is continuing the investigation. North Lincoln Fire & Rescue assisted OSP at the scene.
