SERIOUS INJURY TRAFFIC CRASH - HIGHWAY 126E IN WALTERVILLE (PHOTOS)

A Walterville-area woman was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle traffic crash on Highway 126E in Walterville.
According to Oregon State Police (OSP) Trooper Michael Berland, on May 27, 2012 at approximately 1:07 p.m. a 1995 Mercury Sable station wagon driven by DONNA C. GLASS, age 19, from Walterville, was eastbound on Highway 126E when it turned left toward Camp Creek Road in front of a westbound 2001 Saturn station wagon driven by GREGORY S. MONTGOMERY, age 53, from Springfield.
After the collision, the Mercury came to rest nose-first in a ditch. GLASS was seriously injured and transported by LifeFlight to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend with non-life threatening injuries.
MONTGOMERY was not injured.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Fire & Rescue. Investigation is continuing.
