CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE DEATH INVESTIGATION

Charged with Murder 1st degree RCW 9A.32.030
Lodged at Clark County jail
DECEASED: WILLIAMS, Mark W. age 55
LOCATION: 12216 NE 76th Street
At approximately 14:23 Hrs. this date, patrol deputies responded to a 911 Suspicious Circumstances call originating from 12216 NE 76th Street, Vancouver. The caller advised 911 that she had murdered her husband. Deputies arrived and contacted the woman, identified as WILLIAMS, Donna. Deputies located the remains of a deceased adult male inside the residence. The circumstances of the death appeared to be the result of homicidal violence.
Detectives from the Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit responded and are conducting an investigation. Donna Williams was charged with 1st degree Murder and booked into Clark County Jail. Donna Williams cooperated with detectives in the investigation. The remains of the deceased, WILLIAMS, Mark were taken into the custody of the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office. The time and exact cause of death will be determined by the ME's Office.
No additional information concerning this case will be released at this time.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is now investigating a homicide at 12216 NE 76th Street in Vancouver. Very few details are being released at this time. PIO is on scene. Media may use the insurance company parking lot 12312 NE 76th St. just east of the residence.
