Errol Heights Natural Work Party
Saturday, April 21, 9:00 AM-noon

No preregistration necessary! We will maintain trails, mulch or remove invasive species.

Forest Park
Saturday, April 21, 9:00 AM-noon
Make a difference by removing invasive English ivy with the No Ivy League! From beautiful Lower Macleay Park we will take a short hike (15 mins) to Belgrave Ave. Our ongoing efforts to thwart the presence of invasive ivy will aid native plants at the Belgrave site and lead the way for future restoration projects. Lents Springwater Corridor

Join PP&R, Lents Springwater Habitat Restoration Project, and other community members to mulch native plants! Mulching native plants - previously planted by volunteers - will help the plants survive through the hot summer months. Please wear long pants and long sleeves, sturdy walking shoes, and bring a water bottle. Tools, gloves, water, and treats will be provided. Meet at Lambert & Springwater Corridor trail intersection. (Driving: From SE 82, turn east onto Lambert and follow to the intersection with the Springwater Corridor Trail.) TriMet bus #72 or #19. Or, ride/walk the trail to the planting site! Pier Park Pick-up

Families welcome! Activities include invasive plant removal, litter pick-up, plant guards for native plants, planting, and disc golf course improvements. Recommended Minimum Age: 6
Street parking is available. We will meet at the turn-around by hole #1 of the disc golf course at the intersection of N. Bruce & James. Annual neighborhood event includes litter pick-up, invasive ivy and blackberry removal, planting native plants, painting over graffiti and upkeep of the disc golf course. Please wear sturdy work boots and bring work gloves. Plenty of assorted donuts from Tulip Pastry Shop and coffee from Anna Bananas will be available.
