UPDATE:NAME RELEASED: SUSPECT IN CUSTODY IN CONNECTION WITH (8) OVERNIGHT DUMPSTER FIRES

UPDATE on March 4th, 2012 @ 2031hrs
Portland Fire Arson Investigators released the name of the suspect in the dumpster fires.
Robert Harland Jr. of Portland was booked into MCDC today on 1 count of Arson II and 8 counts of reckless burning.

Portland Fire & Rescue Fire Investigators have taken an individual into custody after a string of overnight trash receptacle fires that occurred last night in Old Town and Downtown Portland.
The incidents are still under investigation and no names are being released at this time.
