ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: US 20 (Corvallis-Newport Hwy.) is blocked in several locations between western Benton County and eastern Lincoln County (MP 36-44) due to spin outs and crashes caused by snow and ice on the roadway. ODOT crews are working to right the vehicles and sand and plow the highway. Motorists should postpone any unnecessary travel through the area or be prepared for severe winter conditions and delays. Interstate 5 in northern Linn County is also experiencing backups as motorists are slowing for slick conditions and multiple spin outs. UPDATE
