ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: Southbound traffic on I-5 is backed up through Salem because of slick conditions that have caused a number of spin outs and several semis that are stuck. ODOT plows and sanders are working to get the snow and slush cleared from the highway. There are other roads in Marion County and in the mid Willamette Valley that are reporting severe winter driving conditions. Motorists should expect delays and be prepared for snow, slush or icy conditions.
