TWO VEHICLE FATAL CRASH

Oregon State Police (OSP) Troopers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that resulted in the death of an elderly man on South Side Bypass and Homedale Road in Klamath Falls.
According to OSP Sergeant Robert Fenner, on November 14, 2011, at approximately 4:23pm, a 1999 Cadillac Deville driven by GRANT ALBERT, age 93, was stopped at a stop sign, southbound on Homedale Road at South Side Bypass. The Cadillac pulled out in front of an eastbound 2002 Dodge Caravan, causing the Dodge to collide with the passenger side of the Cadillac.
The driver of the Dodge, PETER MCNALLY, age 40, received minor injuries from the traffic crash.
GRANT ALBERT was transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
Klamath Fire District #1 and ODOT assisted at the scene. The highway was restricted to one lane for approximately four hours.
