OSP SEEKING PUBLIC'S HELP - INVESTIGATION OF ILLEGAL KILL OF TROPHY WHITE-TAILED BUCK DEER IN SUTHERLIN (PHOTO)

Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish & Wildlife Division troopers are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for last weekend's illegal kill and waste of a trophy White-tailed buck deer in the Sutherlin city limits.
On August 13, 2011, OSP Fish & Wildlife troopers located the trophy White-tailed buck deer between Nicholas Court and Quail Run Lane, an area in a large field south of East Central Avenue. Troopers believe the deer was shot August 11 or 12 with a rifle possibly from a residence in that area.
