UPDATE: MEDIA BRIEFING - OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING IN OAKRIDGE

Oregon State Police (OSP) will hold a media briefing regarding Saturday night's non-fatal officer-involved shooting in Oakridge on Sunday morning, September 19, at 8:00 a.m. at the OSP Springfield Area Command office. The briefing will provided limited details into the shooting of JAMES PATRICK POWERS, age 47, from Boise, Idaho who was the subject of an extensive manhunt in the area since Thursday. POWERS is being treated at a Eugene-area hospital.
The investigation is led by the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
