PORTLAND FIRE RESPONDING TO WATER RESCUE IN JOHNSON CREEK

Portland Fire & Rescue is responding to a water rescue in Johnson Creek in the area of SE 45th & SE Harney. Currently divers and surface swimmers from Portland Fire & Rescue are searching for a victim; it is unclear how the victim ended up in the water. Recent rains have made water levels unusually high, making conditions difficult and dangerous for rescuers.
Media staging will be at SE 45th & SE Harney. Update information will be posted when it becomes available.
