MISSING FISHERMAN'S BODY FOUND BY MULTNOMAH COUNTY DIVE TEAM

On 04-25-10, just before 0900 a.m. the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Dive Team responded to the west side of the Willamette River to resume searching for missing fisherman Dale Garland. At about 1100 a.m. the dive team located Mr. Garland's body in the river, just offshore from where his boat had been tied to a private dock.
The dive team is currently involved in recovery efforts. The Multnomah County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The family has been notified.
