ODOT/Valley, No. Coast: I-5 is closed southbound at Milepost 260 because of a pedestrian fatality. Traffic is being detoured off I-5 at the Salem Parkway Exit (260A). The highway southbound could be closed from 1 to 2 hours for the Oregon State Police to conduct its investigation. Motorists should consider alternative routes such as OR99E and OR99W by exiting I-5 at Woodburn or Brooks.
