PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE RECOVERS BODY FROM WILLAMETTE RIVER NEAR THE OAKS PARK

Marine and land based units responded Monday morning to reports of male victim floating in the Willamette after a caller reported siting the body from his office.
Land based crews located the body about 20 yards from the east bank of the river and marine units performed the recovery.
The victim has not been identified and will be turned over to the Multnomah county medical examiners office.
The Multnomah County Sheriffs office assisted on this incident.
