PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE CREWS RESPOND TO MULTIPLE VEHICLES ON FIRE IN A CAR LOT (5840 SE 111TH)

This evening at 9:50pm Portland Fire & Rescue was called to a car lot at 5840 SE 111th Avenue. When they arrived, firefighters found several cars on fire. The first units on scene called for additional resources due to limited fire hydrant availability and the need for additional personnel. An electric fence surrounding the lot created an additional hazard for firefighters as they fought the fires.
No injuries were associated with this fire. The fire was extinguished and fire investigators are on scene working to determine the cause of the fire and to estimate damages.
