The Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force has arrested several individuals connected to a drug trafficking operation based in a Clark County residential neighborhood.
The task force started an investigation into drug trafficking at 8707 NE 89th Ave after information was developed that residents at the home were selling drugs out of the house. The task force was able to arrange for the purchase of drugs from the home and subsequently obtained two search warrants as part of the investigation.
On Tuesday, February 28th, the task force executed a search warrant at the residence and contacted several people at the home. A search of the residence located drugs, drug packaging materials, as well as records related to drug trafficking. The second search warrant was executed on Wednesday, March 6th, on a vehicle connected to the case. This search also revealed drugs and items related to drug trafficking.
Two residents of the home were taken into custody. John R. McKee, 27, was arrested and booked at the Clark County Jail on one count of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. Lauren A. Marshall, 25, was arrested and booked at the Clark County Jail on two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
A third person, Christopher D. Nichols, 49, Vancouver, was arrested and booked at the Clark County Jail on one count of possession of a controlled substance. Nichols was visiting the home at the time of the search warrant.
"Several types of drugs were located as a result of the two search warrants we served in this case," said task force commander Mike Cooke. "The list of drugs seized really speaks to the level of addiction and suffering that's impacting families all over Clark County. Drug addiction is not a joke; families and neighborhoods suffer when people traffick these substances."
The list of drugs seized includes:
Heroin
Methamphetamine
Hallucinogenic mushrooms
Morphine
Ecstasy
Fentanyl
Suboxone
Dilaudid
Oxycodone
Adderall
Methadone
