Full Details

On Wednesday, February 08, 2012, at about 3:30 a.m., Sheriff's deputies received information regarding the location of several robbery suspects. The robbery occurred last Saturday, February 04, at a residence in Beaverton. Details of the robbery are not being released at this time.

Deputies responded to 4200 SW 107th Avenue, Apartment #104, in the Raleigh West area to see if they could locate the suspects. Deputies learned that there were possibly firearms in the apartment and decided to call out the Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team (TNT) to take over.

Once TNT was in place, deputies used a loudspeaker to order the occupants out of the apartment. Two women and one man came out quickly and were detained. A fourth person, a male, refused to come out of the apartment. He finally gave up about 45 minutes later without further incident and was also detained for questioning.

Detectives began interviewing the four detained subjects, eventually arresting two and releasing the other two. Eighteen-year-old Hannah Bazzi and 22-year-old Christopher Kastrop were both taken to the Washington County Jail and booked on First Degree Robbery charges.

Sheriff's detectives are continuing to investigate the robbery and are interested in hearing from anyone who has any information regarding the crime.
