MEDIA ADVISORY: BRIEFING RELATED TO LINCOLN CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICER SHOOTING INVESTIGATON

Lincoln City Police Department and Oregon State Police will hold a media briefing at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland this morning at 10:15 a.m. The briefing will be held in the hospital's east wing conference room 1075 / 1077.
Updated information will be released during this briefing including the officer's identity. The suspect has not been positively identified and the search is ongoing in the Waldport area.
No information will be released before this briefing. A news release will be sent out after the briefing with details of what was discussed.
